L’IARC (International agency for research on cancer), structure qui dépend de l’OMS et dont le siège mondial est à Lyon, a transmis une proposition d’interCHU pour le semestre d’hiver 2021 (novembre 2021 à avril 2022). Vous travaillerez dans une équipe très sympathique qui vient des 4 coins du monde (anglais obligatoire) ! A priori pas de départ à l’étranger, tout se fera depuis Lyon en lien avec des contacts sur place.

Description du projet :
“The Latin American and the Caribbean Code against Cancer (LACCancerCode) project aims to develop evidence-based recommendations targeted to the public (especially vulnerable populations), health professionals and health authorities, to reduce the risk of cancer in Latin American and the Caribbean, and foster the transfer of cancer prevention knowledge into policy and primary health care practice.
The student will be part of the Scientific secretariat of the project, assisting in:
– the coordination of different working groups of experts and meetings, and preparing related documentation,
– performing literature searches and summaries of the results in topics related to the project,
– the preparation of a strategy to develop a competency-based adult learning programme on cancer prevention for health care providers.”
