EHESP’s MPH program is looking for a software lab assistant able to run 3 NVIVO workshops for our first year students at the MSH campus in Paris (Aubervilliers). The sessions are scheduled to support the assignments students are completing for a Qualitative Research Methods module.
The dates for the 3 NVIVO workshops and the broad topics to be covered are as follows :
- Thursday October 7th Introduction to NVIVO
- Thursday November 4th Coding in NVIVO
- Thursday November 25th Pattern finding in NVIVO
Teaching time for each lab is 6 hours (totaling 18h for the three labs), however since the labs are split into half-groups you will be repeating the same class twice for each lab session – one for the morning group, one for the afternoon group.
There are existing resources available (Powerpoint slides) for you to use and we can offer a short explanatory session regarding the objectives for each workshop prior to the start of the labs. It is expected that you are already proficient in NVIVO, having used it yourself and able to troubleshoot if students encounter any issues in class.
