The European Scientific Conference on Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology (ESCAIDE) is the leading conference in Europe dealing with public health, applied epidemiology and microbiology of infectious disease.

Registrations are open for ESCAIDE 2021!

Registrations are now open for ESCAIDE 2021, which will be held online and is free to attend. Abstract presenters must register by 7 November, while other participants have until 12 November. After the ESCAIDE online platform goes live on 8 November, you will be given access to create your profile and explore the online space, including the abstract pitches, posters and info-stands. More information about this platform will be available on our website shortly.

Programme publication

The programme for ESCAIDE 2021 is now available. Visit our website to explore what’s on offer, including plenary sessions and abstract presentations. This year there will be a chance to delve deeper into posters, with presentation tours alongside the virtual poster exhibition on the conference platform.

This year’s online campaign for the annual European Antibiotic Awareness Day (EAAD) will be launched with a session at ESCAIDE discussing antimicrobial resistance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eurosurveillance is celebrating their 25th Anniversary with a seminar on epidemiology and immunology – from observation to explanation and public health action. Alongside a packed scientific programme, many side-events will be hosted at ESCAIDE 2021. There will be a BarCamp session, a Career Compass, a presentation on the past and the future of the MediPIET programme, and discussion sessions on Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions and on the SONAR-Global project.
